Recently I was unlawfully evicted by my landlord and Dennis Block. They had no grounds and filed an unlawful detainer lawsuit the day after I paid my rent of $1,000. I had to file a response with the court for a cost of $200 and had to hire a lawyer to do this for me. I found out that Dennis Block just files these on behalf of landlords even if there are no grounds for an eviction.
Dennis Block is banking on the fact that the tenant will not know how to file a proper response or hire an attorney. He just wants the tenant caving in. Dennis knows that you will be scared into caving in since an eviction could ruin your credit for 15 years to life and almost impossible to fix.
